Contribute At Any Time
If you find yourself with some extra money one month, you can add that toward your
goal before you have a chance to spend it on something else using SmartyPig too.
In the case that you have contributed extra towards your goal (or your friends and
family have), you're able to reduce your monthly contributions to the minimum amount
that would allow you to still reach your goal on time.
Congratulations! Once you've reached your goal you're given 3 unique options of
receiving your funds. All at no additional cost! Option 1: Receive
your savings plus interest on the flexible SmartyPig MasterCard® debit card
(which can be used anywhere MasterCard® is accepted). Option 2: To
stretch your savings dollar even further (a boost of up to 6.00%), receive your
savings plus interest on a gift card from some of the country's top retailers.
Option 3: Transfer the savings plus interest back to your existing checking
