IT Senior Quality
Assurance Analyst

SmartyPig is looking for a full-time IT Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. This position will be responsible for providing expertise and leadership in software testing to the organization. Position will assist a team of Software Architects, Developers, and QA Analysts through all phases of the testing lifecycle within a complex integrated system. Together with a skilled team ensures quality software delivery to SmartyPig customers.

Incumbent will track software quality industry trends and best practices to encourage growth within the software test discipline ensuring prompt delivery against customer requirements. Candidates must be adept at working both individually and as part of a team. Be passionate about driving change within the team across product quality, process improvement, and productivity, and be comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Information Technology field as well as experience in all phases of the software development and testing lifecycles. Position requires a bachelor’s degree in related area and a minimum of 7 years experience in the field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be self-driven, self-motivating, possess excellent communication skills, be extremely patient and have the ability to problem solve.

.NET Software Developer

Individual must be proficient in all or most of the following: .NET (4.0) — C#, WCF, ASP.NET, Custom Web Controls, AJAX, Microsoft AJAX Toolkit, Microsoft Enterprise Library; SQL; Web Technologies — XHTML, jQuery, Familiarity with standard based design, CSS, Graphics; Documentation skills/Technical writing; Familiarity with Test Driven Development; Familiar with Source Code Control Systems. Position requires an associate’s degree in related area and 0–3 years of experience in the field. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Must be self-driven, self-motivating, possess excellent communication skills, be extremely patient and have the ability to problem solve.
