.NET Web Developer

Individual must be proficient in all or most of the following: .NET (2.0 & 3.0) — C#, WCF, ASP.NET, Custom Web Controls, AJAX, Microsoft AJAX Toolkit, Microsoft Enterprise Library 2.0; SQL; Web Technologies — XHTML, Familiarity with standard based design, CSS, Graphics; Documentation skills/Technical writing; Familiarity with Test Driven Development; Familiar with Source Code Control Systems. Position requires an associate’s degree in related area and 3–5 years of experience in the field. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Must be self-driven, self-motivating, possess excellent communication skills, be extremely patient and have the ability to problem solve.

Lead QA/BA

This is a full-time position, which will be responsible for leading all corporate QA/BA initiatives. The selected individual must have knowledge of the entire software development life cycle including requirements gathering, detailed design definition, development, testing and systems integration. Primary Responsibilities: Work with internal/external parties to define business and functional requirements. Interface with development and architecture teams to clarify and refine requirements as well as generate technical specifications. Contribute to detail design efforts by documenting all requirements in use case and/ or functional requirements format. Define testing strategy and interface with test execution team to clarify, refine and validate requirements. Track requirements throughout the development process and participate in user acceptance testing to verify proper and complete implementation. Required Competencies: Experience in the entire software development process including the definition of business requirements, functional design and functional testing. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both business and technical staff. Strong logic, analytical and problem solving skills. Solid experience with all phases of testing including test automation. Excellent written and oral communication skills. 10 years total experience with at least 3 years in a lead role. Preferred Competencies: Banking or Financial Services industry experience. Software programming and design skills (knowledge of SQL a big plus).

Interaction Designer

This is a full-time position that will be responsible for overseeing, implementing and maintaining the design and interaction of SmartyPig.com. Translate requirements into concepts and elegant user experience design. Create interaction models, user task flows, screen designs, and UI details that promote ease of use, improving and optimizing the user experience. Gauge the usability of new and existing product features and make constructive critiques and, if needed, suggestions for change. Extensive experience developing complex web application interfaces and a passion for designing compelling, user experiences. Strong sense of clean visual design. Ability to multi-task, prioritize projects, and communicate timelines. Outstanding leadership, teamwork, and verbal/visual communication skills. An active SmartyPig user. Must be proficient with XHTML/CSS/JavaScript Web technologies.
