Creating and Editing Widgets

  • Create or Edit a Widget

Within the “Sharing” section of your account, you will find the Widget tab. Here, you can create or edit a widget that can be posted to a large number of social networks like Facebook or your blog.

Choose to “Create a New Widget” or select an existing configuration to edit.

  • Choose Which Goals to Share

You can select to publish updates to your widget for as many goals as you wish. If you select multiple goals, you can decide in which order they display.

Note: The amount of information that will be included about each goal depends on its individual sharing setting found within each goal’s management settings.

  • Decide What You Want to Say

Tell the world what’s on your mind with the lead-in to your goal name(s).

  • Button It Up

Decide if you’d like a button that links back to your goal.

  • Name the Configuration

Since you can save as many different configurations as you’d like (maybe you need to have a different widget that you post to Facebook than the one that you use on your blog), it is important to save your configurations with a unique and quickly recognizable name.

  • Save & Genereate

Once you’re finished selecting options, click “Save & Generate My Widget.” The sample widget will be replaced by your actual widget along with some easy-to-follow instructions for posting it to your blog or social network.

Note: If you edit your widget configuration, all edits will be live upon clicking “Save”. You will not need to repost to your social networks.
